Mentorship
What is our Mentorship Program?
We’re proud to launch our mentorship program starting in Fall 2025, facilitated by our Director of Outreach!
Underclassmen mentees (undergraduate first and second-years) are paired with an upperclassmen mentor (undergraduate third-years and beyond) based on major, career interests, and hobbies. Read more about what our program offers below!
Applications are currently closed, but will open this upcoming fall; it will be linked here and in our weekly newsletter!

How does our program work?
Mentees and mentors each submit an application that details about who they are – age, major, academic/career interests, hobbies, contact, and more!
Our Director of Outreach will then pair each mentee with a mentor, facilitating the initial contact period. Mentorship pairs meet monthly, virtually or in person, sharing advice or inquiries about future courses, professional opportunities, life at Penn State, and more.
This program grants shared benefits to both mentees and mentors! Mentees receive guidance from a trusted upperclassmen, and mentors develop leadership while inspiring Penn State’s next generation of technologists.
